In the state of Ohio, people can legally possess and use marijuana for certain medical conditions. The conditions include:

  • Pain that is either chronic and severe or intractable
  • PTSD
  • Traumatic brain injuries


The law allows people with those conditions to use edibles, oils, patches, plant material and tinctures. Marijuana can be inhaled through vaporization, but not smoked.


Home growth is prohibited.
